Belinda has represented clients in Wake and the surrounding counties for 20 years. During the first half of her legal career, she divided her time between family law cases, general litigation, small business matters, and drafting wills. As her experience and reputation grew, her practice shifted and she has worked primarily on family law matters for the past 10 years. She is admitted to practice in State and Federal Courts.
Belinda is trained in mediation and collaborative law. She is committed to settling matters out of court whenever possible, but ready to litigate when necessary. Her varied work and life experiences allow her to relate to and advise her family law clients on a broad range of issues.
Belinda graduated in 2001 from Campbell University School of Law and in 1993 from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Before law school, she worked in Washington DC and later RTP as a Project Manager for the World Bank and US Agency for International Development contracts. She has served on the Board of Directors for both the Holly Springs and Apex Chamber of Commerce and taught courses at Wake Tech Community College. Belinda has been married… and divorced. She grew up on the Outer Banks and now resides with her two children in Cary. She enjoys traveling, biking, paddleboarding and boating.
