Eva Freeman, born in upstate New York, grew up in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. She graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a degree in English and was a member of Phi Beta Kappa and Sigma Tau Delta honor societies and made the Dean’s List and Chancellor’s List each semester. She graduated summa cum laude with a 4.0 GPA. She later obtained her paralegal certificate from Duke University and worked as a paralegal in family law, where she discovered her passion for the law and for assisting clients through difficult times.
Eva received her Juris Doctor from The University of North Carolina School of Law. In law school, she interned at the Wake Public Defender’s Office and for the Orange County District Attorney, where she gained both client and courtroom experience. When she is not practicing law, you can find her spending time with her husband, two teenage sons, and three rambunctious dogs. She loves cheering on her sons at their soccer games and plays, going to the beach, and Latin dancing.
