Richard Bruce Gantt is an award-winning Board Certified Family Law specialist with over 20 years of experience. He is rated 10 out 10 by Avvo and regularly teaches continuing education seminars for other attorneys in his practice area on topics such as trial techniques, valuation and division of assets, tax considerations, advanced custody issues, and spousal support (to name a few).  Richard understands the stress of going through a divorce because as a single father he has walked that road. He is passionate about fighting for those in crisis and brings all of his talents to bear on behalf of his clients. 

 

Richard is a native of Sanford, North Carolina, and a graduate of Wake Forest University where he graduated with honors and was a member of the track team. Later, Richard earned an MBA at Regent University before graduating from Tulane Law School. He also pursued graduate study in Taxation at Georgetown. Prior to practicing law in North Carolina, Richard was a divorce attorney at several of the most prestigious divorce firms in Chicago, and also spent several years working in investment banking where he helped small business owners address valuation issues. Richard is the proud father of four amazing sons. When he isn't practicing law, Richard enjoys playing club rugby, sport shooting, and Taekwondo. Richard is the immediate Past President of Rotary Club of North Raleigh, and is a member of Crossroads Fellowship and Mensa.
